From Albany, NY (approx. 1hr 45mins)

Take Route 7 east towards Vermont. Route 7 will change into Route 9 when you cross into Vermont, it's the same road. Once in Vermont, continue following Rt-9 East for 25 more miles into Wilmington center. At the stoplight in Wilmington center, make a left on to Route 100 North. Follow Rt-100 North for 5.9 miles. The West Dover Inn and the 1846 Tavern and Restaurant are on your right, two miles before the Mount Snow ski and golf resort.

 

From Bennington, VT (approx. 45mins)

From Bennington center, take Rt-9 East for 19 miles into Wilmington center. At the stoplight in Wilmington center, make a left on to Route 100 North. Follow Rt-100 North for 5.9 miles. The West Dover Inn and the 1846 Tavern and Restaurant are on your right, two miles before the Mount Snow ski and golf resort.

 

From Boston, MA (approx. 3hrs)

Take Route 2 west, towards Concord, to Interstate 91 North (approximately 70 miles west of Concord). Take I-91 North to Exit 2 in Vermont (Rt 9, Brattleboro). At the end of the ramp, make a right onto Route 9 West. Follow Rt-9 West for 18.3 miles, up over Hogback Mountain and down into Wilmington center. At the stoplight in Wilmington center, make a right onto Route 100 North. Follow Rt-100 North for 5.9 miles. The West Dover Inn and the 1846 Tavern and Restaurant are on your right, two miles before the Mount Snow ski and golf resort.

 

From Brattleboro, VT (approx. 45mins)

Follow Rt-9 West for 19 miles, up over Hogback Mountain and down into Wilmington center. At the stoplight in Wilmington center, make a right onto Route 100 North. Follow Rt-100 North for 5.9 miles. From Burlington, VT (approx. 3hrs)

Take Interstate 91 South to Exit 2 (Rt 9, Brattleboro). At the end of the ramp, make a right onto Route 9 West. From Manchester/Nashua, NH (approx. 2 hrs 30mins)

Take Route 101 West to Keene. In Keene, merge onto Route 9 West. Follow Rt-9 West through Keene to Interstate 91 South in Vermont. Take I-91 South to Exit 2 (Rt 9, Brattleboro). Make a right at the end of the ramp back on to Route 9 West. Follow Rt-9 West for 18.3 miles, up over Hogback Mountain and down into Wilmington center. At the spotlight in Wilmington center, make a right on to Route 100 North. Follow Rt-100 North for 5.9 miles. From New York, NY (approx. 3 hrs 45 mins)

Take Interstate 95 North to Interstate 91 North. Follow Interstate 91 North, through Massachusetts, to Exit 2 in Vermont (Rt 9, Brattleboro). At the end of the ramp, make a right onto Route 9 West. friends here in the Mount Snow valley. You will receive email updates with this
info, so you don't need to start a new discussion about any of these
subjects, but you can if you want.

2) Feel free to start a discussion topic about anything you want to
know that doesn't already have an ongoing discussion. Just be sure to
check the other discussion topics to see if your question is already
covered.

3) Invite any and all of your friends to join the group!

4) If you have a gmail account, you'll have direct access to the
tavern page. If you don't have gmail, you won't have direct access,
but you can read all the postings and reply to them via your email

August 17-21, 2010

It's a cool, low humidity, 70-80 degrees in Mount Snow with an absolutely enchanting strong summer breeze blowing throughout the day. A perfect week for golf, hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, wine tasting and shopping.

ACTIVITY OF THE WEEK: Wilmington and Manchester are in perfect shopping season. Not too many people in the stores, end of season discounts and deals, perfect walking weather.
